To optimize cutting speed for each job an optional Variable Speed Control (1500 to 11,000rpm) is available.

A turn of a knob for both spindle height and angle settings. Fine adjustments to .1mm are made at the push of a button. LED displays will show actual settings to one tenth of a millimeter and one tenth of a degree respectively.

The moulder spindle quick-change system
The unlimited range of applications of your new tilting spindle moulder F 900 is also supported by a Felder spindle moulder quick-change system. For series production, it is possible, within seconds, to exchange cutterblocks fitted with pre-mounted moulding tools or switch between moulding spindles with different diameters. A very special feature is the Felder high-speed moulding spindle for routers with 16,000 rpm.

The precision ”240“ spindle fence
The “240“ spindle fence is standard equipment. The spindle fence can accomodate tooling with a maximum diameter of 230 mm and has a fine adjustment system on the spindle fence outfeed side. The integrated dust extraction port allows for efficient chip removal. The spindle table opening is 320 mm, an advantage when panel-raising, as the spindle tooling can be lowered under the table.

MULTI fine adjustment system
The MULTI fine adjustment system enables quick and precise adjustments to be made to the position of the spindle moulder fence. This time saving feature reduces setup time and the number of test cuts that are required. The whole fence can also be removed and then returned to its exact position.

The large table opening allows for maximum operator safety. For large dimension tooling, as used for tenoning and panel raising, the cutterblock can be
conveniently positioned below the table.
